A six-member South Korean multinational girl group under High Up Entertainment, debuted on April 21, 2026. Members are Yeeun, Heekie, Tina, Ako, Evon, and Haeun. Their fandom is called Chacha.
The name combines the prefix “Un” — something that overturns the ordinary — with “child,” representing a person free from the limits of any standard. Stylized in all caps: UNCHILD.
High Up’s first new group in six years
High Up Entertainment is the label behind STAYC, one of the more consistent girl groups of the early 2020s. UNCHILD is their first new act since then — a six-year gap that makes the debut feel considered rather than rushed.
The most familiar face in the lineup is Haeun, known to many K-pop fans as Na Haeun, the dance prodigy who went viral as a child and later trained under SM Entertainment. She left SM in 2024 and confirmed her involvement with High Up the following year. Her joining the group was the first real signal that something was being built here.
The debut
UNCHILD debuted with the single album We Are Unchild on April 21, 2026, with the title track “UNCHILD.” One notable detail: ahead of the debut, the group released a fan song — “Chacha Song” — that was self-produced by the members themselves. It’s a small thing, but it’s an early indication that this group has a hand in shaping their own identity.
They’re brand new, so there isn’t much of a catalog to dig into yet. But as the first act out of High Up in years, they’re worth paying attention to.
