A Thai rapper, dancer, and singer. Born Lalisa Manobal on March 27, 1997, she is the main dancer and lead rapper of BLACKPINK. She founded her own company LLOUD in 2024 and signed with RCA Records for solo activities. Her fandom is called BLINK (shared with BLACKPINK).

Lisa is the only non-Korean member of BLACKPINK.

Before Alter Ego

Lisa had already established herself internationally before launching a full solo album. Her 2021 debut single “Lalisa” set records for the most-viewed K-pop solo artist music video debut in 24 hours. “Money,” its B-side, became the first K-pop song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify and the longest-charting song by a solo female K-pop artist on the US Billboard Hot 100. She holds three Guinness World Records, including the most Instagram followers for a K-pop artist.

2025: The breakout year

Alter Ego, Lisa’s debut studio album, was released on February 28, 2025, through LLOUD and RCA Records — the first full-length solo album by any BLACKPINK member. Built around five character personas, it featured collaborations with Rosalía, Doja Cat, and Raye, among others. It debuted in the top ten globally.

That same period saw Lisa make her acting debut as Mook in Season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus, set in Thailand. Shortly after, she performed at the Academy Awards — the first K-pop artist to appear on the Oscars stage.

Back with BLACKPINK

Lisa rejoined BLACKPINK for the Deadline World Tour, the group’s first all-stadium world tour, which ran from July 2025 to January 2026 across more than 30 cities. BLACKPINK also released their EP Deadline in February 2026, marking their return to group releases after four years.
