An eight-member multinational girl group under SM Entertainment, debuted on February 24, 2025 — the label’s first girl group since aespa in 2020. Members are Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Juun, A-na, Ian, and Ye-on. Carmen is SM Entertainment’s first Indonesian idol. Their fanbase is called S2U (하츄).
The group’s name reflects their mission to connect with global fans through a mysterious and beautiful musical world filled with heartfelt messages, moving forward together as a greater “us.” Their debut single “The Chase” blends dreamy soundscapes with vocal melodies driven by a bass synth, with Korean lyrics by veteran hitmaker Kenzie and composition by UK R&B trio FLO.
Their debut album sold over 200,000 copies on its first day — the second-highest first-day sales record for a K-pop girl group debut — and surpassed 400,000 copies within a week, a new record in Hanteo history. Their first mini album FOCUS (October 2025) sold 408,880 copies in its first week, the highest-ever debut-week sales for a girl group’s first mini album. They swept major rookie awards in 2025, including Best New Artist at the MAMA Awards and the Seoul Music Awards.
