A four-member girl group — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — formed by YG Entertainment in 2016. Widely regarded as the “biggest girl group in the world,” they are a leading force in the global spread of K-pop.

Following their debut hits “Whistle” and “Boombayah,” which topped charts simultaneously in Korea and overseas, they went on to deliver a string of global hits including “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du,” “How You Like That,” and “Pink Venom.” Their second studio album Born Pink became the first by a Korean girl group to top both the Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart, while the Born Pink World Tour became the highest-grossing concert tour ever by a female act.

They are the most-subscribed and most-viewed music act on YouTube, and the most-followed and most-streamed female group on Spotify. In 2023, they became the first Asian act to headline Coachella and were invested as honorary Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for their advocacy work on climate change awareness. They were also named Time magazine’s 2022 Entertainer of the Year.
