A nine-member multinational girl group under JYP Entertainment, debuted on October 20, 2015. The lineup includes five Korean, three Japanese, and one Taiwanese member — Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group’s name reflects their philosophy of moving audiences twice — once through sight, once through sound. Currently promoting as an eight-member group while Dahyun is on hiatus for health reasons.

From their debut single “Like OOH-AHH” through era-defining hits like “CHEER UP,” “TT,” “Fancy,” and “Feel Special,” TWICE consistently dominated Korean and Japanese charts throughout the late 2010s. They became the first female idol group to surpass 100 cumulative music show wins, and in 2021 became the first girl group ever to sell over 10 million combined Korean and Japanese albums — reached just five years after debut. They also hold the record for the most music videos with over 100 million YouTube views among all girl groups worldwide.

In Japan, TWICE became the first K-pop girl group to headline dome tours, and have since released four Japanese studio albums. All members re-signed with JYP Entertainment in 2022, and the group has continued an active release schedule with Korean and Japanese comebacks, solo debuts from Nayeon, Jihyo, Tzuyu, and Chaeyoung, and the Japanese unit MISAMO. Their 10th anniversary special album TEN: The Story Goes On was released in October 2025.
